About the Coastal Renaissance
The Coastal Renaissance is one of three Coastal-class vessels introduced in 2008. She rotates between BC Ferries' major routes — most often the Horseshoe Bay–Departure Bay run and the Tsawwassen–Swartz Bay run — depending on refit and seasonal demand.
Coastal-class ships carry roughly 1,600 passengers and several hundred vehicles per sailing.
