About the Spirit of British Columbia
The Spirit of British Columbia is one of two Spirit-class ships that anchor the Tsawwassen–Swartz Bay run between Metro Vancouver and Victoria. She's among the largest vessels in the BC Ferries fleet, with capacity for roughly two thousand passengers and several hundred vehicles per sailing.
She typically alternates with her sister ship, the Spirit of Vancouver Island, on the busiest crossing in the system. On summer weekends and long weekends, sailings on this route routinely fill hours ahead of time.
