About Bowen Island (Snug Cove) Ferry Terminal
The Bowen Island terminal sits in Snug Cove, the island's small harbour village, a 20-minute crossing from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver. It is the island's only vehicle connection to the mainland.
Snug Cove has very limited vehicle holding space, so the queue often runs up Government Road through the village. The camera above is the quickest way for residents to see how far back the line reaches. We do not currently track live capacity percentages on the Bowen Island crossing.
