About Langdale Ferry Terminal
Langdale Ferry Terminal is near Gibsons on the lower Sunshine Coast, at the southern end of Highway 101. It is the Sunshine Coast's only vehicle link to the Lower Mainland, crossing Howe Sound to Horseshoe Bay in about 40 minutes.
Because the coast has no road connection to the rest of the province, Langdale functions as a commuter terminal — weekday morning departures and Sunday evening returns are the busiest. The cameras above show the holding compound so residents can time their arrival.
